| No meio da turnê do álbum Fear of The Dark o vocalista Bruce Dickinson anuncia a sua saída da banda. O Iron Maiden decide gravar então dois álbuns ao vivo com os últimos shows antes da saída do vocalista. São lançados assim A Real Live One com músicas mais recentes da banda e posteriormente A Real Dead One, com as músicas mais antigas. Ambos são excelentes, embora o primeiro registro ao vivo, Live After Death, seja superior. No mesmo ano ainda foi lançado o álbum duplo Live At Donington 1992. |
